Why a Hairpin motor?
The new Ryuga motors from VTB use advanced Hairpin technology, replacing traditional round copper windings with precision-formed flat copper bars. This upgraded design delivers higher efficiency, better cooling, and noticeably stronger torque compared to standard IPM motors.
More compact, accurate, and built to handle heavy use, Hairpin motors provide consistent performance even under extreme off-road riding. This makes the Ryuga platform one of the most capable and durable motor options in the lightweight e-moto class.
High-Strength Alloy Steel Shaft (40CrMoTi): A reinforced shaft built from premium 40CrMoTi alloy steel, engineered to handle extreme load, high RPM, and off-road impacts without flexing or fatigue.
Hairpin Winding: Flat copper-bar winding technology that delivers higher power density, improved efficiency, better cooling, and stronger instant torque—used in the latest generation of high-performance electric motors.
Magnetic Laminations: Precision-cut laminations designed to reduce eddy-current losses, improving motor efficiency and overall performance under sustained load.
Circular Waterproof M12 Connector (IP67): Fully sealed and weather-resistant, offering perfect plug-and-play compatibility with both the VTB V9600 and VTB V9600 AETOS controllers.
Square 8-Pin Connector: Included for broader system compatibility. Not as waterproof as the M12 connector, but ensures support for other wiring setups and controller configurations.
