Every Rerode R1+ includes the following:

  • Rerode R1+ Electric Dirt Bike
  • Battery
  • Charger with protective carrying case
  • Front wheel spacers
  • Front number plate
  • Front fender
  • Left and right CNC foot pegs
  • Tool kit
  • Owner's manual
  • Keys
  • Rerode hat
  • Work gloves
  • Portable electric air compressor
  • Portable fan

These accessories are included to help you assemble, maintain, and enjoy your Rerode R1+ right out of the box.

Tools Required

Most of the bike can be assembled using basic hand tools.

Required tools include:

  • 3 mm Allen wrench
  • 4 mm Allen wrench
  • 12 mm wrench or socket
  • 14 mm wrench
  • Two 19 mm wrenches or sockets
  • Zip ties
  • Torque wrench (recommended)

Assembly Procedure

Step 1 — Install the Handlebars

  1. Remove the handlebar clamps.
  2. Position the handlebars.
  3. Tighten the four clamp bolts evenly.
  4. Verify proper alignment before fully tightening.

Step 2 — Install the Throttle

  • Slide the throttle onto the handlebars.
  • Position it against the bar end.
  • Back it off slightly so it rotates freely.
  • Tighten the clamp.
  • Confirm the throttle snaps back freely before riding.

Step 3 — Install the Front Brake Lever

  1. Loosen the brake clamp.
  2. Position the brake lever.
  3. Tighten securely.

Step 4 — Organize the Wiring

Before installing the front number plate:

  • Bundle the wiring neatly using the supplied zip ties.
  • Ensure nothing binds or rubs while turning the handlebars.

Keeping the wiring organized improves appearance and prevents unnecessary wear.

Step 5 — Install the Front Fender

The Rerode R1+ uses a unique four-bolt front fender design.

Bolt sizes:

  • Front bolts: 4 mm
  • Rear bolts: 3 mm

The four-bolt mounting system provides greater rigidity than a traditional three-bolt design.

Step 6 — Install the Front Number Plate

  1. Install the upper mounting bolt.
  2. Secure the lower section using the supplied zip ties.

Step 7 — Install the Front Wheel

  1. Install both wheel spacers.
  2. Position the wheel.
  3. Slide the axle through.
  4. Install the axle nut.
  5. Tighten using two 19 mm wrenches.
  6. Tighten both axle pinch bolts evenly.

Axle pinch bolt torque: 9 N·m

Always verify both pinch bolts are installed and tightened before riding.

Step 8 — Install the Foot Pegs

Install each foot peg so it folds rearward.

This allows the peg to fold backward if it strikes a rock or obstacle, reducing the chance of damage.

Installation requires:

  • 12 mm wrench or socket
  • 14 mm wrench

The battery ships disconnected for transportation.

Connecting the Battery
